Leadership Milam County

2011-2012 Class Now Accepting Applications

The effectiveness of personal involvement in the future development of Milam County can be enhanced through increased knowledge of the community's history, citizenry and social, economic and political makeup. It is the intent of the Leadership Milam County program to provide a foundation of such knowledge, that potential leaders will use to aid their involvement in community affairs.

Established under the Cameron and Rockdale Chambers of Commerce and monitored by the Board of Directors of the Chambers of Commerce, Leadership Milam County is an annual program, which focuses on significant community information and issues. Leadership Milam County is funded by the participants of the course and contributions solicited from the business and civic community.

Each year's participants are selected to represent a cross-section of our community's existing and future leaders.
