Cameron Arts & Crafts Fair
The Annual Arts and Crafts Fair is set for the first Saturday in October (Oct. 6, 2012). The Arts & Crafts Fair is a wonderful opportunity for families to get together, visit, shop and snack on local favorite treats. For many people the Cameron Arts and Crafts Fair is their kick-off to holiday shopping. This festival is set under the broad oaks for Cameron's City Park on Hwy 190/36.

Cameron's Annual Fun Run
If running or walking is your way of exercising; you might want to join us for the Annual Fun Run held on Saturday, October 6th in conjunction with the Arts and Crafts Fair. Participants ranging in ages from 3 to 75+ come to the downtown square for this annual event. Medals are given to the first, second and third place finishers in each category and cash prizes are given to the top male and female overall finishers. Each participant receives a souvenir t-shirt. Cameron Christmas Parade
The Annual Christmas Parade is a fun home-town kick-off to the Holiday Season. Children line up to welcome Santa to town and have their chance to share with Santa their greatest wishes for Christmas. Enjoy funnel cakes and hot chocolate and assorted arts and crafts on the square. This year's parade will take place on Saturday, December 3rd at 5pm. Cameron Chamber Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament
Finally, we come to the Cameron Chamber Christmas Classic Basketball Tournament which unfolds during the Christmas holidays between Christmas and New Year's. This year's tournament will be held on December 27th and 28th. Men's and women's high school basketball teams meet up in Cameron for two full days of exciting basketball. If you enjoy some good, quality high school basketball, then you'll want to mark your calendar for Cameron December 27th and 28th, 2011.

Cameron Dewberry Festival
Cameron Dewberry Festival, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, is held annually the third weekend in May. The dates for 2012's festival are May 18-19th. With activities for all ages, the festival brings Wilson-Ledbetter Park to life. Activities include: Arts & Crafts Booths; Classic Car Show; Food Booths; live Entertainment; Horseshoe Tournament; Youth Fishing Tournament ;  and Free Dewberry Cobbler and Ice Cream. There is also a Dewberry Cobbler and Cake Auction following the Cake and Cobbler Bake-Off, with monies from the auction to benefit the Milam County Child Welfare Board.  


Cultural Activities
The Cameron and Milam County area is rich in culture and history - offering numerous events which highlight local culture. Cameron ISD has a beautiful 800 seat, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center which is the venue for a variety of musical and stage events. Cameron also has an active community theater - Milam Community Theater which produces three plays and a membership Gala Event each year.
