Established in 1846, Cameron is the county seat located on the Little River in North Central Milam County. This tranquil and lovely setting is an agricultural center with an abundance of rivers, trees, and wildlife.

Downtown Cameron has experienced a face-lift with the renovation of our historic courthouse and an 1891 Victorian-style building that is now the Cameron City Hall-McLane Municipal Center. Arts & Crafts Fair

Join us Saturday, October1 for a full day of fun, food and arts and crafts under the majestic oaks in City Park in downtown Cameron. Discover diverse artisan treasures from across central Texas. The activities commence at 9 am and will continue until 5 pm. There's something for everyone to enjoy -- arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, live entertainment and fun for all ages.

Fun Run

Fun Run registration begins at 7:15 am on the Courthouse Square in downtown Cameron. It includes a children's 1/2 mile and a 5K Run/Walk. Each participant receives a T-shirt. Top male and female receive cash prize, medals given to first, second and third place finishers in each age category. Proceeds will benefit the Milam County Crime Stoppers organization. This event is sponsored by the Cameron Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce.
